Casual Denim Skirt

My mom gave me some more denim this a lightweight navy and white striped piece.  There was about 3 yards of it so first off I thought the fabric would look great as a casual skirt.  I used McCall's pattern M6289 view A.  The pattern says easy and it was.    I think when a pattern says easy it implies quick.  I think easy should mean quick but that's not always the case.  This one delivered on the quickness though and I like that.  It zips up the back and has a hook and eye for closures.
I'm wearing the skirt with a fitted T but I think it would look best with a cute little short sleeve white blouse.  I don't have one, guess I'll at it to the clothes to make list.

  1. Cute, I like it with the belted shirt.

  2. I think that skirt would look great under an apron, just a touch of fullness. Maybe I need to make one to wear at the bakery.
