Hearts Of A Feather

Valentine's Day is coming up and I like Valentines crafts with all the red, pink and heart shapes.  Never big that big on the holiday itself but I always appreciate an opportunity to get crafty.

I started by cutting out a bunch of cardboard hearts out of old box.  I used heart cookie cutters as my templates.

Using a glue gun to attach I covered each of the hearts with feathers.  One at a time glue then trim off excess feather parts till heart is covered.

Glue ribbon to back for hanging.

I also made some using natural colored feathers.  These would look nice all times of the year.
