Toilet Paper to Christmas Tag

The past few weeks I'd forgotten to make the move on the toilet paper tubes to the recycle bin.  I seem to of acquired a little collection.  My goals last night were to clean the house and wrap presents. This worked out really well.

Cut the tube open and flatten as best you can.  Draw on a tree with marker no need to be neat, add your to and from.  Cut out and hole punch at top and bottom of tree.  Take one pipe cleaner and weave through holes.  Turn a little circle at top to keep in place and it looks like a star atop the tree.  Attach to present using long stem of tree.

They turned out so cute.  I hope none of my gift recipients is grossed out that I used toilet paper rolls for gift tags.  They would never know unless they read this blog.  I think a few of them do.

Gifts in front of our cedar Christmas tree that was growing randomly in our yard.  It needed cut down but  I figured we should probably make use of it before we let it go.

  1. Cedar trees are the best and the cheapest. I'll be super happy to open a gift with a toilet paper roll tag!
