I did a little more Christmas decorating last night decking out the mantel. I hung the stockings and put out the holiday music albums. On the blank canvas I strung mini bulb ornaments I bought in the Target $1 section a couple of years ago. Then I whipped up a crafty banner with my favorite holiday song Baby it's Cold Outside. I think my favorite holiday music is the slightly sexy kind. My other favorite song is All I Want For Christmas is You, Mariah Carey version. What's your favorite Holiday song?
To make the banner I cut up enough brown paperboard rectangles to accommodate my message. Drew out the letter with an iccie blue sharpie marker, hole punched each top corner to string letters together then made glitter icicles with school glue and silver glitter.
I like the whole display! Especially the canvas and the icicles and Gretchen. I like those two songs a lot too. Also Santa Baby (which fits your bill) and Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

ReplyDeleteBaby it's Cold Outside is probably my favorite. But I catch myself sining Keep Christmas With You (all through the year).
